Executive Team

Vance has over 30 years of experience in the medical device space. He started with Lineus Medical in 2015 as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer and became CEO in 2018. He served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at BlueInGreen, a developer and manufacturer of capital equipment for water treatment. Under his leadership, BlueInGreen more than quadrupled its sales in one year. Prior to BlueInGreen, Vance was Sr. Director of Marketing and a key player in Mako Surgical’s growth from an orthopedic start-up with 17 installed surgical robots to over 156 installed robots and sales of over $100M. He was the developer of Mako’s strategic plan and the chief architect of Mako’s Total Hip Arthroplasty application. Vance spent ten years working for Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics in various senior marketing and sales roles, including a 2.5 year European assignment in Brussels, Belgium. Vance began his career at Wright Medical Technology (now Microport) in manufacturing as an industrial engineer and later moved into product management. Vance earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. Vance was named a C-Suite Leader by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal in 2021, an Arkansas Money and Politics Tech Leader for the State of Arkansas in 2022 and a Distinguished Alumni by the University of Arkansas College of Engineering in 2024.

Will is an experienced R&D leader with an over 20 year track record of fueling innovation and driving new product commercialization. Prior to joining Lineus Medical in 2020, Will had progressing leadership roles at Cook Medical and Medtronic Spine where he led project teams to over 20 successful product launches in the highly competitive spinal implant market. Will also served as a technical advisor for strategic due diligence and integration activities resulting in multiple company and technology acquisitions. Will is a prolific innovator and is listed as an inventor on over 35 issued U.S. patents and an additional 20 pending applications. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Memphis where he currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the Mechanical Engineering department.

Larry Hayes - Vice President of Sales

Larry has over 20 years of experience across the medical device and medical technology field and has worked with 4 different successful early stage start ups. Before becoming Vice President of Sales at Lineus Medical, he was the Vice President Interventional Imaging at GE Healthcare where he led commercial teams in the United States and Canada for GE’s Interventional Imaging Systems. He was the Vice President of International Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Strategy at IntroCare where he grew their global sales, and improved their marketing, commercial, regulatory and medical affairs functions. Larry spent 8 years working aboard growing international sales and relations at EziSurg Medical and Vascular Flow Technologies. Prior to his international experience Larry held several sales management positions at Banyan Biomarkers and W.L Gore & Associates. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English at Catawba College.
