November 13, 2017 - Lineus Medical announces the acquisition of BVAD Tech, the owner of a dual lumen peripheral IV catheter called BVAD. BVAD is designed to provide normal peripheral IV access while minimizing the painful sticks associated with blood draws and blood sugar checks. BVAD is the second, patent protected venous access device in the Lineus Medical product portfolio.
October 31, 2017 - Lineus Medical announces that it has won a $50,000 grant from the New England Pediatric Device Consortium. The money will fund research that will ensure Lineus Medical's SafeBreak™ Vascular is optimized to meet the needs of children.
September 14, 2017 Lineus Medical closes a Series A funding round, providing an additional $1.365M of capital for future company growth. This brings the overall amount of funding to $2.215M since the company's inception. The intended use of funds is for sales and marketing efforts for the impending launch of SafeBreak™ Vascular.
September 12, 2017 - Lineus Medical announces the addition of two vascular access stalwarts to the company's Technical Advisory Board. Darcy Doellman is a pediatric vascular access specialist and past president of the Association for Vascular Access. She adds a clinical and educational viewpoint to the Board. Matt Stuckert is VP of Sales for Magnolia Medical and vascular access market veteran, who adds sales and marketing expertise to the Board.
September 7, 2017 - Lineus Medical enters into a three-year exclusive manufacturing agreement with BihlerMed of Phillipsburg, NJ, a company that specializes in high volume automation of production processes.
May 23, 2017 Spencer Jones is named to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal's Fast 15. The Fast 15 issue singles out 15 up-and-coming professionals still in their twenties that live and work in Northwest Arkansas.
Lineus Medical Exhibits for first time at Association for Vascular Access
September 17-19, 2016 - Lineus Medical exhibited the SafeBreak I.V. for the first time at the Association for Vascular Access annual meeting in Orlando, FL. Approximately 150 nurses passed through our new booth and provided important feedback on the design of our device.
September 15, 2016 - Lineus Medical completed an exclusive distribution agreement for the United States and Puerto Rico with the medical supply distributor MediCore, which is based in Nashville, TN.
September 14, 2016 - LineGard Med will exhibit its first product, SafeBreak™ I.V., at the Association for Vascular Access Conference in Orlando, FL September 17-19, 2016. The company is transitioning to a new company name, Lineus Medical, and will exhibit under the new name.
July 25, 2016 - LineGard Med CEO Spencer Jones is featured on Northwest Arkansas' Startup Junkie Consulting's podcast discussing starting a medical device company.
May 10, 2016 - LineGard Med selected to take part in Google for Entrepreneurs "Health Tech" exchange taking place in Nashville, TN. The company also announces it has won free CE Marking by making the finals of the Medtech Startup Showdown hosted by the industry publication Medical Device and Diagnostic Imaging.
April 11, 2016 - LineGard Med announces plans to set-up company headquarters in Fayetteville, Arkansas and forecasts upcoming hiring needs.
April 5, 2016 - LineGard Med Founder and CEO Spencer Jones featured in Arkansas Money and Politics' issue looking at Arkansas' diverse entrepreneurial ecosystem.
March 18, 2016 - LineGard Med competes against 19 other businesses during the 8th annual New Orleans Entrepreneur Week and wins the Delta Entrepreneur Showcase.
February 23, 2016 - Vance Clement hired as LineGard Med Chief Operating Officer and Jordan Mykleby as Director of Engineering to round out the Executive Team at LineGard Med.

August 20, 2015 - Spencer Jones makes his final pitch for LineGard Med's SafeBreak Vascular product at ZeroTo510 Business Accelerator Demo Day in Memphis, Tennessee.
August 14, 2015 - Spencer Jones is interviewed about starting LineGard Med by High Ground, a Memphis, TN weekly digital magazine focusing on the city's most visionary and active people, businesses and organizations.
August 12, 2015 - Spencer Jones is interviewed by Clark Buckner, a contributor to Launch Tennessee, about his experience with the ZeroTo510 Medical Device Accelerator
